About me

I was born and grew up in Stuttgart, in Germany, but I have lived in Tuscany for the last 10 years. My first language is German, and I am also fluent in English and Italian.

I have always loved travelling. After my postgraduate degree in Tourism from the University of Berlin I decided to stay in Tuscany, because I find the art and history of this region absolutely fascinating. Both art and history truly come to life for me when I am showing my guests the stunning sights of Florence and surroundings and telling them about what happened in those very places.

I am fully qualified and licensed as a Tour Guide for Florence's City and Province, with a Diploma from the Istituto Dante Alighieri, which is the top training school in Florence.
